Ghanaian musician Darkovibes has disclosed that he has been arrested multiple times by the police due to his admission of using marijuana.
During an interview with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360, Darkovibes mentioned that he is often picked up by authorities and subjected to searches on suspicion of possessing weed.
Despite these encounters, Darkovibes maintains a positive relationship with many police officers. “The police do bother me, but they are your best friend. I have a very good relationship with a lot of police officers. They have arrested me countless times because sometimes I get carried away.
“Sometimes, not just after a show but even after a studio session, they can search me for four hours,” Darkovibes said.
In a message to his fans, Darkovibes urged them to act responsibly, particularly regarding smoking and other personal habits. He emphasized the importance of being conscious of their influence on society.
“Whatever we do, I advise every young person, adult, and child to do it responsibly. At the end of the day, you have a role to play in society, in your community. We all have our flaws, and I know I’m not perfect. But it’s important that we handle things responsibly,” he said.
