Edward Ennin, a former Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) representing Obuasi East, has made explosive claims about the misappropriation of state funds. In an interview on UTV, Ennin revealed that he holds crucial evidence regarding the locations of these stolen funds and expressed his readiness to testify before any investigative body, including the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee.
According to Ennin, foreign diplomats, including ambassadors from France, the UK, and the US, are aware of where the looted resources have been funneled. “I was in the home of a prominent personality with these ambassadors, and the discussion that ensued was alarming,” he disclosed, hinting that some of the stolen money had been transferred overseas.
Ennin’s revelations have sparked widespread concern, with many calling for a thorough investigation to recover the stolen state assets and hold the perpetrators accountable.
