Ghanaian musician Paul Nii Amu Andrew Darko, popularly known as Darkovibes, has addressed and clarified false reports regarding his marijuana use. He emphasized that certain rumors about why he smokes weed are inaccurate, providing clarity on the matter.
In an interview on 3FM Drive on October 1, Darkovibes explained that he smokes weed, or marijuana, for recreational purposes, particularly to “cool their brains” during recording sessions. However, he noted that some reports had misconstrued his statements, suggesting he smokes weed backstage before performances.
In a subsequent interview on Showbiz 360 with Giovani Caleb, Darkovibes clarified his stance: “In case you read somewhere that I said I smoke backstage before going on stage, I didn’t say that. I mentioned that I don’t carry illegal substances because I am a lawful citizen and abide by the law,” he stated on Saturday, October 19.
